Music Master is developed and operated by Midnordic (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a trading name operated by Przemysław Kociołek. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Music Master, why it is needed, and what rights and choices you have.
2. Information We Process
Music Master stores your projects, settings, imported audio, recordings, and other application data on your device.
When you use online features, we may process and retain limited information required to provide those features. This may include:
- User email — collected during purchase and used to associate the purchase with your license;
- Purchase history — collected during purchase and used to confirm transactions, provide purchased content, and restore access;
- Device ID — a hashed device fingerprint used to recognize activated devices, enforce device limits, and verify your license;

We do not collect any payment card or bank account information. Payment and billing details are handled by the selected third party payment providers under their own privacy policy.
We do not use this information for advertising and do not sell personal information.
3. How We Use Information
We process information only when necessary to:
- provide and manage licenses;
- enforce license device limits;
- confirm purchases and restore access to purchased content;
- provide downloads, prices, and software updates;
- send license and purchase-related messages;
- operate optional online features and integrations;

4. License Verification
Music Master generates a device fingerprint from limited device information. The fingerprint is safely hashed so that the original device information cannot be reconstructed from it.
The hashed fingerprint is used to recognize activated devices, enforce device limits, and verify that a license remains valid. We also retain the information reasonably required to create and administer the license, confirm ownership, and prevent unauthorized use.
Music Master stores protected license information locally on your device and periodically contacts our services to validate or renew licensed access. This means that occasional internet access may be required to continue using licensed features.
5. Purchases and Purchased Content
Purchases are handled by third-party payment services. Those services process payment and billing information under their own privacy policies. Midnordic does not collect payment-card or bank-account information.
We receive and retain the limited purchase information required to:
- confirm that a purchase was completed;
- create or update a license;
- provide access to purchased content on supported devices and platforms;
- restore purchases;
- process cancellations, refunds, or revocations;
- prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions;
- provide customer support and meet legal or accounting obligations.
The email address provided for a purchase or license may be used to associate the purchase with your Music Master license and to send license or purchase-related messages.
6. Microphone Access and Audio Recordings
Music Master requests microphone access only when you choose to use a recording feature. Microphone access is optional and is not used without your action.
Recordings are normally processed and saved locally to a location you choose. Music Master does not upload recordings to its licensing or shop services.
7. Optional Online Features
Music Master includes optional online features, such as voice integration, broadcasting, the sample shop, content downloads, and software updates.
When you use these features, we and the service providers involved may process the limited account, connection, purchase, or technical information necessary to provide them. Audio is transmitted only when you intentionally use a feature that sends audio to other participants or an external service.
Some integration information may be stored locally so Music Master can remember your settings or linked account. You can choose not to use optional integrations and may unlink them where the application provides that option.
Third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
8. Local Data
The following information generally remains on your device unless you choose to share, export, broadcast, or otherwise transmit it:
- Music Master projects;
- imported audio files;
- microphone recordings;
- installed sample packs;
- application settings;
- cached waveform data.
Some sensitive application settings are stored in protected form. Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the relevant cache, uninstall Music Master, or remove it through your operating system.
9. Data Sharing
We do not sell or trade personal information.
We share information only when necessary:
- with service providers that help us operate Music Master;
- with payment services to process and verify purchases;
- with recipients or integration services when you intentionally use a sharing, broadcasting, or voice feature;
- when required by law;
- when necessary to protect users, Midnordic, or the security of our services;
- as part of a business transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
10. Data Retention
We retain license, purchase, and related account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide purchased access, restore purchases, administer licenses, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, and reliable service operation. Temporary information used by live online features is removed or expires when it is no longer needed.
Local data is controlled by you and remains on your device until you remove it.
11. Data Security
Information transmitted between Music Master and Midnordic’s online services is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Device identifiers used for license verification are stored as derived/hashed identifiers rather than the underlying device information. Midnordic does not collect payment-card or bank-account information.
12. Cookies and Website Use
Music Master does not include advertising trackers.
Our website and the services used to host, protect, or display it may process ordinary technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. Third-party websites and services linked from our website are governed by their own privacy policies and may use cookies or similar technologies.
13. Children’s Privacy
Music Master is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or complain to your local data-protection authority.
You can choose not to use optional microphone, shop, broadcasting, voice, or other online features. You can also remove local data through Music Master or your operating system where those controls are available.
