Audio Recording

Record audio with applied effects.

Music Master allows you to record audio. You can record your voice or an instrument and apply various creative effects to it.

Recording Window

From the main menu, select “Add Recording…”.

The following recording window will open.

Selecting a Microphone

From the “Recording with:” dropdown list, select the device you want to use for recording (microphone).

Only dual-channel microphones are supported. Selecting a different type of microphone may cause the application to freeze.

Adding Effects

Before starting the recording, you can choose effects that will be applied to the recorded audio.

To do this, click the “Add Effect” button and select the desired effect from the menu.

Once selected, the effect will be added to the list. You can add as many effects as you like. They are applied in the order they were added.

You can adjust the parameters of each effect. Feel free to experiment with different settings.

Recording

To start recording, press the “Record” button.

If you do not want to hear the recorded sound while recording, uncheck the “Hear recording” option.

When you finish recording, press the “Stop” button.

You can listen to the finished recording by pressing the “Play” button.

Adding the Recording to a Composition

To add the recording to your composition, you must first save it to disk.

Click the “Save” button, choose the destination folder and file name, and save the file with the “.wav” extension.

After saving, the recording will automatically be added to the composition.
